How alligently a good civilization brings awareness to their people, which takes centuries to develop, unfortunately via hate, one can destroy it in one generation. 

It takes time to build a beautiful building, but only moments it takes to destroy it.

Even if you don't like the past, as you want to instead you demonize others lets don't impose your ideology to alienate minority voters for example, Parsis, Budhist, Jain, Sikh, Christian, Muslims and tribals. Don't marginalize them and their cultures and beliefs. BJP party is an ugly blot on the name of democracy. BJP should not run country as British applied their British Raj policies, devide and rule. This is your country and your people. In the world, you gave a bad name to Indian democracy. This is not a democracy. This is an autocracy. India was known as a nonviolant country, and you failed to maintain it's traditions which were built by Mahatma Gandhi and Jawahar lal Nehru. BJP failed to give their people freedom to practice their cultures and religions. 

Nepotism:

One of congress leaders and minister is remembered by BJP as stalwart, whose statue was being erected recently by PM Narender Modi. He is known as Sardar Patel, though he was a congress leader. BJP gives him more respect than Mahatma Gandhi. After independence, Sardar Patel gave millions of dollars to Gujarati fellows without any contract and accountability and also helped them in their immigration to foreign countries. Mostly, they went to Africa and South America to start their own businesses.

Later, the Congress party set up an inquiry during Prime Minister Rajeev Ghandi to investigate activities of money laundry and track down borrowers' loans history. As inquiry discovered, it was a total abuse of the Indian government funds allocated to gujarati fellows during Sardar Patel tenure eventually used for personal purpose.  Always change is a demand of the time, as India was advancing under the new governments. The Muguls maintained the unification of India, and their government system was based on justice and judicial rules, and in return, they developed a government with a parliament (Diwan e Aam) system. Diwan e Aaam included a diversified class of different ethnicities at ministerial positions, and Raja of Jaipur was part of their joint venture to set a government. This advanced, un-prejudice approach brought developments in the nation across the regions and religions. Gradually, they tried to abolish the caste system and rituals. A new caste known as kaayistha out four came into existence, and their status was elevated in the courts. As said, Birbal was one of them, and Akbar appointed him among his 9 top ministers (nine jewels or noratan).

 What we see in present time America has taken millions of immigrants in the past couple of decades, including we Indians too. America need our skills so they support us in immigration. Why prejudice Hindus or BJP members of Gujrat are worried that Muslims will hijack India ? Why don't they think the same way being an American?

Urdu is a beautiful language that was born in India, and you want to strangle it. Why do you hate Muslims. In India, only Gujrati hates muslims so much that they don't care for Muslims who gave their blood for fighting for Indian freedom?
