The Descent That Became a Rise, Reflection on the Divine Plan.

Ambition is the guiding flame of human life. Without it, one drifts like a ship without a sail. But ambition must not be blind, it should be directed toward both worldly excellence and eternal salvation. Seek not only success in this world, but also a noble life partner and a righteous path that extends into the hereafter.
Channel your energy toward purposeful goals, for time is the most precious of gifts, and how we use it defines our destiny. The arrival of modern knowledge, like the computer age, has transformed human capability and drawn distant nations close, making the world a single global village.

The fields of medicine, science, and technology are gateways through which Allah allows mankind to uncover the hidden wonders of His creation. In the coming decade, new frontiers will emerge, especially in medical sciences and human innovation, changing how we heal, live, and connect.
So, strive with wisdom and foresight. Let your ambition serve humanity and draw you nearer to the Divine purpose, for true success is when the progress of the mind aligns with the purity of the soul.

The story of humankind begins at the very heart of divine wisdom. Without ambition, a person cannot truly belong to this world, for ambition is the spark that awakens purpose within the soul. Yet, when left unguided by divine knowledge, that same fire can consume rather than enlighten.

The journey of humanity commenced with Adam and Eve. Their act was not merely a fall from grace but the unveiling of destiny itself. Within every human being, hidden forces stir, hormones and desires that either raise the soul toward virtue or drag it into the abyss of heedlessness. Within the body flows a force, the stirring of hormones, the tide of desire. It is both a trial and a treasure.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) declared:
“I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate. Whoever wishes to enter the city must come through its gate.”
(Hadith reported by al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak, and al-Tirmidhi in Sunan al-Tirmidhi)

Before the creation of the material world, among the obedient angels, Allah had distributed portions of divine knowledge according to their ranks and purposes. This celestial knowledge was specific and sacred, granted only to those appointed for divine service.

But when Allah created the world and mankind, He made knowledge a universal gift, accessible through reflection, learning, and divine inspiration. From then on, knowledge became of two types: innate, granted by divine illumination, and acquired, obtained through seeking, contemplation, and the guidance of those divinely chosen.

Among the signs of this divine bestowal upon humanity are two heavenly entities that descended to earth:
The Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad), placed in the Ka‘bah as a witness of divine covenant.
The Sword Zulfiqar, bestowed upon Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as a symbol of divine justice and truth.

Though neither the Stone nor the Sword are living beings, both carry the spiritual attributes of divine purpose. They serve as symbols of the eternal connection between the divine and the chosen ones, reflecting the realm of attributes (Sifat), through which the essence of divine personalities is known.

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said:
“Ask me, ask me before you lose me; for by Allah, if you ask me about the paths of the heavens, I will tell you more than you know about the paths of the earth.”
(Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 189)

Thus, knowledge in Islam is not merely information, it is a light that flows from the Divine Source, through the Prophet, and then through the Gate of Knowledge, Imam Ali. Those who seek it with sincerity are walking toward divine truth.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Verily, in the body is a piece of flesh; if it is good, the whole body is good; and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Verily it is the heart.

This means that the spiritual and moral condition of the heart determines the goodness or corruption of a person’s entire being.

Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) Sayings on the Heart & Human Inner Life.

Here are several genuine sayings of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) about the heart and the human inner condition (not biological anatomy):

“Be gentle with human hearts, for when they are forced into something, they go blind.” (metaphorical about treatment of people)

“What you hide in your heart appears in your eyes.” (the inner state shows outwardly)

Imam Ali described hearts as vessels: “Truly these hearts are vessels and the best of them are those which hold the most.” (on spiritual receptivity)
Wikipedia

He advised to “revive your heart with admonition, and make it die to worldliness, and strengthen it with certainty.” (spiritual cultivation rather than physical)

These sayings focus on the spiritual heart, its purity, attention, and moral condition, rather than on literal physical anatomy. In Islamic texts, “heart” is frequently used metaphorically for spiritual insight and moral center.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said there is a small piece of flesh in the body, the heart, that determines the state of the whole body.

In this sacred design, woman was not a cause of error but a mirror of completion. Eve’s call to Adam was the whisper of destiny itself, without her, the story of mankind would not begin. What seemed a fall was, in truth, the rise of creation toward divine manifestation.

When these driving forces begin to fade with age, worldly ambition subsides, and the soul turns naturally toward reflection and purity. Therefore, in youth, one must channel that vibrant energy not in pursuit of vanity, but in the cultivation of wisdom, by resisting the nafs al-ammārah (the commanding self). In this struggle lies the preservation of the divine attributes embodied by the Prophets and the Imams, through which the soul ascends toward light. Preservation of attributes is like ink to write, it needs a sacred and pious pen to transform life to the upper station of life.

In this sacred design, the woman occupies a central and noble role in manifesting the essence of human nature. Had Adam not heeded Eve, the divine will would have remained concealed, for what appeared as error was in truth the key to human awakening.

Their descent from Paradise was not a punishment but a beginning, a deliberate step in Allah’s eternal plan, through which the world was prepared to receive the radiance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). What seemed a fall was in reality a rise, an unveiling of purpose decreed by the Almighty Himself.
