اعتدال کا راستہ♡Eitidāl Kā Rāstah♡The Path of Moderation

درمیانی راستہ بہترین راستہ ہے
Darmiyānī rāstah behtareen rāstah hai
The middle path is the finest way to tread,

مگر انسان نادان نہیں سمجھتا ہے
Magar insān nadaan nahīñ samajhtā hai
Yet mankind seldom understands what lies ahead.

حسن کی ذاتی بھی بن جاتی ہے برائی کا سبب7
Husn kī zātī bhī ban jātī hai burā’ī kā sabab
Even beauty itself can become a cause of strife,

دیکھنے والا بھی بری نظر رکھتا ہے
Dekhnay wālā bhī burī nazar rakhtā hai
For the beholder may cast an envious eye upon life.

دولت و شہرت تو آزمائش کا پیمانہ ہے
Daulat o shohrat tow aazmaish ka paimana hai
Wealth and fame are also a measure of life's test.

شخصیت انسان میں توازن عدم پیدا کرتا ہے۔
Shakhsiyat insaan mein  tawazun e adm paida karti hai
They can create imbalance within a person's character.

دل کی بیداری سے نفس جاگ اٹھتا ہے
Dil ki bedari se nafs jaag uthta hai
When the heart awakens, the soul begins to rise.

ورنہ انسان کہاں عدل کو سمجھتا ہے
Warna insaan kahan adl ko samajhta hai
Otherwise, how would a person hold fast to justice?

آئینہ دل صاف ہو تو عیب بھی نظر اے شیشے میں 
Aaina-e-dil saaf ho to aib bhi nazar ayein shishe  mein
When the mirror of the heart is clear, one's faults appear.

ورنہ انسان ان کے عیبوں کو ڈھونڈا کرتا ہے
Warna insaan unkey aibon ko dhoonda karta hai
Otherwise, one remains busy searching for others' flaws.

راہ حق تو ایک سیدھا  راستہ ہے
Raah-e-Haq to aik seedha  raasta hai
The path of Truth is straight and easy to follow.

مسافر سیدھی راہ منزل پہ پہنچتا ہے 

Musafir seedhi rah manzil- par pohanchta hai
Whoever walks it reaches the destination of Truth.

میزانِ عمل میں ہر جذبہ تولا جاتا ہے
Meezan-e-Amal mein har jazba tola jata hai 
On the Scale of Deeds, every emotion shall be weighed.

جو حد سے باہر جائے گا وہ بکھر جاتا ہے
Jo hadd se bahar jayega woh  bikhar jata hai 
Whatever exceeds its bounds will fall and scatter away.

نرمی اور محبت سے دل جیتے جاتے ہیں
Narmi aur muhabbat se dil jeete jaate hain
Hearts are won through kindness and love.

مغرور انسان ہی اپنا آشیاں جلاتے ہیں
Maghroor insaan hi apna aashiyan jalate hain
It is the arrogant who burn their own nest.

دانا! اعتدال میں پوشیدہ ہے رازِ حیات
Dana! Itidal mein posheeda hai raaz-e-hayat
O Wise One! In moderation lies the secret of life.

جو پہچانتے ہیں جلاتے ہیں محبت کے چراغ
Jo pehchante hain jalate hain muhabbat ke charagh
Those who truly understand are the ones who kindle the lamps of love.
