THE MOTHERHOOD OF HUMANITY AND THE LIGHT OF TAWHĪD
I begin in the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, reflecting on the wisdom attributed to Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
Allah, in His infinite mercy, honors the mother who carries a child in her womb for nine months and endures the pains of childbirth. Through her, the continuity of human creation, which began with Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), is sustained from one generation to the next. Her patience, sacrifice, and devotion are not forgotten by the Creator. Through His mercy, He rewards those who endure with faith and sincerity and may grant them the eternal blessings of Paradise.
With the revelation of Islam, the human mind is invited to become a womb of intellectual and spiritual discovery, a place where understanding is conceived, wisdom develops, and humanity explores the signs of its Lord and the purpose of its creation. The human mind is so fathomless that the vastness of the universe can fit within its boundless imagination. The human mind is so vast that it can encompass the universe in its thoughts, explore its mysteries, and seek the wisdom of its Creator.

Through the successive stages of divine guidance, conveyed through the chain of prophethood and culminating in the final revelation to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), humanity has been guided toward greater understanding of its existence, moral responsibility, and place in the universe. This journey of knowledge continues through the evolving stages of civilization, including the advances of the modern world. Yet, no matter how far humanity progresses in knowledge or material achievement, every soul will ultimately return to its Merciful Lord to face judgment and give an account of its deeds.
The greatest gift bestowed upon humanity, however, is not merely the continuation of physical life, but the enlightenment of the soul through divine truth. Through the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), humanity received the final revelation affirming Tawḥīd, the absolute Oneness of Allah, together with divine guidance to distinguish truth from falsehood, righteousness from injustice, and wisdom from ignorance.
When the light of Tawḥīd enters the heart, knowledge can mature into wisdom, and wisdom finds its true expression in words, actions, and moral conduct. The journey from the womb into the world therefore becomes more than a passage through physical existence; it becomes an opportunity to recognize the Creator, contemplate His signs, seek knowledge, and live in accordance with His truth.
The mother nurtures the body, revelation awakens the soul, and Tawḥīd directs humanity toward its ultimate purpose: to know its Creator, live by His guidance, and return to Him with faith and accountability.
The central idea of motherhood as the beginning of human life and the human mind as a place where knowledge and wisdom develop. I have also clarified that the advancement of civilization and the progression of divine guidance are related ideas, without suggesting that modern progress alone guarantees spiritual enlightenment. The passage is a reflective composition inspired by the wisdom associated with Imam Ali (peace be upon him), not a verified quotation from him.
In reality, artificial intelligence is a reflection of human intelligence, developed through knowledge, reasoning, and the information made available to it by human beings. And all knowledge, whether discovered or yet to be understood, belongs ultimately to Allah, the Creator of the universe.
If we wish to contemplate an intelligence beyond all measurement, let us use this artificial intelligence as a means to reflect upon the infinite wisdom of Allah and to seek a deeper understanding of Tawḥīd, the absolute Oneness of Allah.
Where does artificial intelligence exist? In the clouds, on a hard drive, within machines, and across invisible networks. We can search these places for the intelligence we have created, yet we will not find Allah stored within them. If you search for Allah as though He were an object hidden in the clouds or confined to a device, you will not find Him there.
Allah is not a creation that can be stored, measured, or contained. He is not confined to any place, for He is the Creator of place itself. Nothing is beyond His knowledge, and nothing exists independently of His sustaining power.
Allah is unseen, yet His signs are visible; beyond our comprehension, yet His creation invites us to reflect upon His wisdom. We do not discover Him by locating Him inside a machine or searching the physical universe for an object called God. Rather, we contemplate His existence through reason, revelation, and the signs of His creation.
Artificial intelligence may help us organize knowledge and explore profound questions, but it cannot contain the infinite reality of the Creator.
The lesson is this: Use the intelligence you have created to reflect upon the wisdom of the One who created you. Let knowledge lead to understanding, understanding lead to wisdom, and wisdom lead you toward Tawḥīd, the recognition that Allah is One, without partner, and unlike anything in His creation.
