The Third Voice: A Spirit to Awaken Should Rise


When every debate returns, the same question is called.

The same concern, the same thought, the same old call.

We walk in circles, our journey bears no fruit.

Where is the force that can change our frozen route?

Neither side offers hope, nor an answer in sight.

O Great Nation! Why does a veil obscure Capitol Hill's sight?

Why does no third voice rise and awaken the land?

One born of free thought, with truth in Madison's hands.

Neither captive of power, nor a slave to gold.

Who makes truth his message, his purpose, his soul.

Such a spirit transforms an age. It is such a spirit that breaks history's cage.

 Exhibits the virtues of our constitution written on its pages. 

Sooner or later, the world will shine through the light of your thoughts.
