علم کا دور ہوا 

ILm ka dor huwa

The era of knowledge has come.

سائنس اجاگر ہوا

sciens ujagar huwa

Science has brightened the life.

سورج چڑھتا گیا

Suraj chadhta gaya

The sun was rising

 اندھیرا چھٹتا گیا

Andhera chhatta gaya

The darkness was fading.

انسان نے پُتلا سے اپنے کو ہی دھوکہ دیا 

Insan ne putley se apane ko hi dhokah diya

Man deceived himself with a mannequin.

بھگوان نے انسان کو سمجھنے کا موقع دیا

Bhagwan ne insan ko samjne ka moqa diya

God gave man the opportunity to understand.

نہ سن سکا نہ دیکھ سکا زمانے سے کچھ نہ کہہ سکا

Na sun-saka na dekh saka zamane se kuch na kahah saka

Couldn't hear, couldn't see, couldn't say anything to the people of the time 

جہاں بٹھایا تھا مجھے وہاں سے میں نہ ہٹ سکا

Jahan bithaya tha mujhe wahan se mein na hat saka

I couldn't move from where I was seated.

پتھر کے بنانے والے کو انسان نے جب ڈھونڈ لیا

Pathar ke banane wale ko insan ne jab dhond liya

Sooner man was able to discover the Creator of stone?

نہ مانو تو یہ سنگ ہے ورنہ پتھر کی صنم ہے

Na mano to yah sang haye warna pathar ke sanam haye

If you don't believe they're the stone otherwise stone idols 

دل اگر زندہ نہ ہو تو یہ دل کے وہم ہیں

Dil agar zindah na ho to yah dil ke waham hein

If the heart is not alive, then these are the illusions of the heart.

کوئی چارہ نہیں تو بیچارہ ہے

Koi charah nahin tu becharah haye

O poor guy you are helpless this is an endless struggle 

گردش لیلیٰ میں مجنوں مارا ہے

Gardish e Laila mein mujanon mara haye

Roaming in search of his Juliet (Laila)

قوت محرک ہارمون کا سہارا ہے

Quwat muhark (stimulation) harmon ka sahara haye

Apani khwahishon ko pathar mein tarasha haye

Man has created such a spectacle of God.

پرمیشور کے جنسی عضو کو تراشا ہے

You curved Parameshwara's (Creator) genitals organs.

 صنم کا سنگ تراش کیا تیری آشا ہے 

Sanam (devta) ke sang tarash kiya teri asha haye 

O stone god Carver what kind of hope do you have?

غیب کے پرمیشور کو کیسے تراشا ہے

Ghaib ke parmeshor ko kesey tarasha haye 

How possibly is the unseen God portrayed?

کاش میں بھی ایک سنگ پر بت ہوتا

Kash mein bhi ek sang parbat hota

I wish I were a god on top of a mountain 

نہ دل ہوتا نہ دل کا دھڑکنا ہوتا

Na dil hota na dil ka dhadkana hota

There would be no heart, no heartbeat as well 

نہ لیلا ہوتی نہ لیلا کا بہکانا ہوتا

Na laila hoti na laila ka bahakana hota

There would have been no Leila, nor would there have been any seduction by Leila.

نہ انکھیں ہوتی نہ زمین و آسمان کا نظارہ ہوتا

Na ankhen hoti na zamin or aasman ka nazaarah hota

There would be no eyes, no sight of the earth and sky.

پرمیشور کی زمین پر ٹھوکروں کا مارا ہوتا

Parmeshor ki zamin par thokaron ka mara hota

There would have been stumbling blocks on the Lord's earth.

یا اسماں میں گردش کا تارا ہوتا

Yaa asman mein gardish ka taara hota

Or I could be a rotating star in the sky

محبت سے دی مجھ کو اپنے بھگوانوں میں جگہ

Muhabbat se di majh ko apane bhagwanon mein jagah

کیسا بے سہارا تھا بچا نہ سکا دیکھتا رہا

Kesa be sahara tha bacha na saka dekhta raha

نشانی بن گیا ہوں جو غور کرتے ہیں۔

Nishani ban gaya hon jo ghor karte hein.

I have become a sign for those who reflect.

اس زمیں کے سنگ تراش کی تعریف کرتے ہیں

Us zamin ke sang tarash ki taarif karte hein

The tourists praise the stone carver of the time.

پتھر بھی کہاں سنتے اور سمجھتے ہیں

Pathar bhi kahan sante or samzte hein 

I am mere stone, I neither listen nor understand.
