The Balance of Knowledge and The Measure of Divine Justice. - علم اور عمل کا توازن - خدائی انصاف کا پیمانہ۔

❤️
Let us look carefully, both historically and spiritually, and examine with the eyes of the mind: who is with truth, and who is with falsehood?

Allah says:
وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ
Wa ‘allama Ādama al-asmā’a kullahā thumma ‘aradahum ‘alal-malā’ikah
"And He taught Adam the names of all things, then presented them to the angels."
(Qur’an 2:31)

Knowledge is a trust from Allah, and with it comes responsibility, not mere awareness, but the duty to act upon what is known.

Today, the world is like a living mirror of justice and injustice. Through social media, news, and constant transparency, what was once hidden in Karbala or other historical events now lies open before the eyes of all.

No Arab, no nation, can close its eyes to the truth unfolding around them. ❤️❤️

Yet, many remain deaf to the truth, dumb in uttering it, and blind in perceiving its light, even as the truth stands before them. They wander in darkness, not because they cannot see, but because they choose not to.
(Tafsir al-Safi, al-Fayd al-Kashani, vol. 1, p. 299)

This voluntary blindness is the root of injustice. To ignore truth when it is clear is to justify oppression.

O Allah, curse those who laid the foundation of oppression against the family of Your Prophet, and curse those who were blind and deaf to their sanctity.
(Ziyarat Ashura)

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) teaches us that physical sight alone is not enough; one may see clearly, yet remain blind to the truth. Spiritual perception dies when the heart rejects divine guidance.

Don’t we see that the name of Allah is inscribed upon the Iranian flag? They profess faith in the same Allah, follow the same Qur’an, and revere the same Prophet (peace be upon him). How then can anyone, in fairness or wisdom, label them as unbelievers?

"The example of those who disbelieve is like one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries, deaf, dumb, and blind, so they do not understand."
(Qur’an 2:171)

Just as concealing knowledge is a sin, neglecting to seek it is itself a form of ignorance.

Knowledge is a trust from the Almighty; it must be shared by the one who possesses it and pursued by the one who lacks it. To hide it is injustice; to ignore it is blindness.

Allah reminds us:
"And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam, from their loins, their descendants and made them testify concerning themselves, ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They said, ‘Yes, we testify.’"
(Qur’an 7:172)

This eternal pledge shows that every soul affirms Allah’s Lordship even before entering this world. It is a covenant binding each human being to the truth.

Many noble hearts, though they may not be Muslims, are moved to tears when they hear the Qur’an.

Their souls recall a covenant made long before birth, a promise to their Creator, although their tongues may not understand the words; their spirits recognize the truth within them.

The wise live by learning, and the learned live by teaching. The world stands upright only through the balance of knowledge and action. This is why Allah established the Mīzān, the scale of justice, a balance that did not exist in the world of angels.

The magicians of Pharaoh recognized the light of truth and surrendered to it wholeheartedly, despite the threat of death. They saw Pharaoh’s tyranny yet chose faith over fear. Similarly, Hur ibn Yazid al-Riyahi defected from Yazid’s army, embracing the path of truth and martyrdom alongside Imam Hussain (ع).
Thus, knowledge without action is incomplete, and courage without conscience is empty. The truth calls out, and only those who answer it with both heart and hand will stand on the side of justice.

What a beautiful ride you have, and how fine a rider you make of them!”
Upon this, the Prophet (peace  be  upon  him) replied with affection:
“And how wonderful a mount/ride you two are!”
This is reported in Sunan al-Tirmidhī (Hadith 3809).

Now, Husain stood before the same Ummah, the same people, and asked them to decide:
Will you follow the fleeting power of this world, or the eternal path of truth and virtue, the path of the Prophet and his pure family, the Shabāb al-Jannah (leaders of the youth of Paradise)?

Indeed, truth embraced and correction made are far superior to the remorse that follows falsehood. Remember, every soul shall return, and with that return comes accountability before the Lord of all worlds. On that Day, none shall intercede except by Allah’s permission, and the greatest intercession will belong to our beloved Prophet Muhammad

Alā man nāṣirīn yanṣurunī?
Alā man mughīthin yughīthunī li-wajhi-llāh?
Alā man dhābbin yadhubbu ‘an ḥaram Rasūlillāh?

“Is there anyone to help me?
Is there anyone to come to my aid for the sake of Allah?
Is there anyone to defend the sanctity of the family of the Messenger of Allah?”

The story of Ḥurr ibn Yazīd al-Riyāhi is one of the most compelling examples of repentance and truth in Islamic history.

On the night before the battle (the 9th of Muharram), Hur felt deep remorse.
He heard Umar ibn Sa‘d’s order to block water from the tents of Hussain’s camp and realized Yazid’s army had become unjust.

Hur said:
“By Allah, I see myself between Paradise and Hell.
I will not prefer anything over Paradise, even if I am cut into pieces and burned.”
 (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 45, p. 9)
Then he rode his horse toward Imam Hussain’s camp, trembling.

Both Arabs and Jews share common ancestry, tracing back to the ancient Semitic lineage from Prophet Yaqoob (peace be upon him). The present kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an imposed and usurped entity. Their forefathers once disputed even with the Prophet, asking which calf should be sacrificed, and of what color, and history bears witness that they persecuted and even killed many Prophets. They often feign innocence and simplicity, yet beneath that lies a worldly attachment that blinds them to truth.

The world should be cautious not to idolize or follow them blindly as though they were divine.

Non-Arab nations, too, must be wary of following the Arabs without reflection, neither blindly, nor deafly, nor dumbly.
The true caliphate concluded with the fourth Caliph. How then can others be regarded as rightful caliphs after him?
Just as there shall be no Prophet after Muhammad (peace be upon him), there is likewise no Caliph after Ali (peace be upon him). Seek wisdom from his light; study his words in Nahj al-Balāghah, for therein lies the treasure of divine knowledge.

"Establish prayer from the time the sun declines until the darkness of the night, and [also] the recitation of the Qur’an at dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is witnessed.”
(Qur’an 17:78)

Qur’anic Maghrib:
Begins when day withdraws and night begins to spread, the moment of transition when the light of the sun disappears and the light of the soul must rise.

“He has fixed the times of prayers for His remembrance,
and made them the means of drawing near to Him.”
Nahjul Balagha sermon 223

Imam Ali teaches that each prayer time represents a transition of light and shadow, a reminder of creation’s rhythm and man’s accountability.
Maghrib, the meeting of day and night, symbolizes the balance between action and reflection, effort and submission.

All Muslims, whether from Arab, Iranian (Persian), or other backgrounds, share the same Qur’an and prayers in Arabic.

There is no separate Qur’an in Iran or elsewhere; the script, language, and verses are identical.

What differs are schools of jurisprudence (fiqh) and ritual details, not the faith itself.
For example:
Shia (Ja‘fari) Interpretation
Practice vs.
Sunni Interpretation
Source/Reason
Prostration
Forehead on cloth/carpet
Forehead on the turbah (clay tablet)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The earth has been made a place of prostration for me.” Shia follow this literally by touching the natural earth.
Prayer Times
Maghrib starts immediately after sunset
Maghrib starts when the red glow (shafaq) fades, the sky’s redness after sunset
Based on the Imams’ traditions, distinguishing true nightfall from optical sunset.

Ramadan Fast
Ends at sunset
Ends after the full sunset glow disappears
Reflects the same difference in defining “night.”
These are not different religions but different understandings within Islam, both tracing their roots to the Prophet and his family.

“Establish prayer from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night.”
(Qur’an 17: 78)

Dulūk ash-shams, when the sun moves from its zenith and ultimately disappears.

Ghasaq al-layl → when the darkness thickens, not merely when the disk sets.

When Light Surrenders to Night: The True Time of Maghrib begins.

So, Qur’anic Maghrib begins when daylight itself fades, not when the upper rim of the solar disk vanishes according to geometry.

Imam al-Ṣādiq (ع) was asked how to know Maghrib time.
He said:
“When the redness in the east disappears, that is the time of Maghrib.”
(Al-Kāfī 3 : 280; Wasa’il al-Shi‘ah 4 : 184)
Meaning: when the black hair of night merges with the remaining red glow of day, when east and west are equal in darkness,  then the sun has truly set below the horizon and its light withdrawn from the sky.
This is a visual, experiential sign, available to every person, anywhere on earth, without instruments.

Scientific Perspective
Meteorologically, sunset = when the upper limb of the Sun disappears.
But light continues to scatter in the atmosphere,, whichastronomers call civil twilight, lasting until the sun’s center is 6 degrees below the horizon.

Shia Maghrib generally corresponds to the end of civil twilight, when direct sunlight no longer illuminates the sky and east–west darkness balances, exactly matching the Imam’s description.

 Spiritual Reflection
Thus the Qur’an ties prayer to human perception of creation, not to instruments or mathematics.

The moment daylight surrenders to night is a reminder that outward light fades, but inner light must awaken.
When black merges with red, when the world hushes between light and shadow,
that is the hour the believer turns to his Lord.

In Summary
Maghrib (Qur’anic & Imamic Definition):
The time when the daylight of the west disappears and the darkness of the east rises,
when the red twilight fades and night’s blackness begins to cover the sky.
Not a calculation, but a sign from creation itself.
