The Light of Awaiting - انتظار کی روشنی


تجھ سے کروں شکایت اور کون ہے ہمارا جہاں میں
Tujh se karoon shikayat aur kaun hai hamara jahan mein
Whom else can I complain to, O Lord, in this world’s span?

تو ہی تو ہے ایک سہارا زمین اور اسمان میں
Tu hi to hai aik sahara zameen aur asmaan mein
You alone are the support in the earth and sky’s domain.

واسطہ ہے تجھ کو محمد و علی فاتح خیبر کا
Wasita hai tujh ko Muhammad o Ali Fatah-e-Khyber ka
By the sake of Muhammad and Ali, the victors of Khyber’s plain.

مانگے جو تجھ سے دعا اس دنیا ویران میں
Maange jo tujh se dua eis duniya veeraan mein
Whoever prays to You amid this world’s barren plain.

مکمل کر دے نور اپنا اس کی حفظ و امان میں
Mukammal kar de noor apna us ki hifz-o-amaan mein
Perfect Your light within him, in Your care and divine reign.

غیبت میں ہے جو منتظر اس زمانہ میں
Ghaibat mein hai jo muntazir is zamana mein
He awaits the Hidden One in this time’s silent chain.

حق و باطل کو عیاں کر پیمانے میزان میں
Haq o batil ko aiyan kar paimane meezan mein
Reveal truth from falsehood upon the balance’s plane.
Added verses:

لبیک کی صدا گونجتی ہے ہر ایمان میں
Labbaik ki sada goontee haye har imaan mein
May the call of “Labbaik” echo in every heart of faith again.

عدل سے بھر دے رحمت اپنی اس جہاں میں
Adl se bhar de rehmat apni is jahan mein
Fill this world with mercy and justice once again.
